Bright Side

Hello,

You'll all be really glad to know I've decided to look on the bright side. And do so with another numbered list.

1) My car wasn't stolen which is great considering I hadn't locked it.
2) My jacket that was in the front of the car wasn't stolen either.
3) My eftpos, driver's licence and cash were in my jacket that could have easily been taken.
4) My visa was for no real reason, just good luck, sitting at home on my dresser rather than in my wallet.
5) I forgot to take my normal shoes to the gym so I was still wearing my gym shoes, which would have been taken with the bag if I hadn't been wearing them.
6) My rings - which would have been the worst of all things to lose because of their sentimental value - were also in the pocket of the jacket.
7) My Mum and Dad are really lovely and replaced my toiletries for me.

So really it could have been a lot worse! Also Mum told me that one of her old workmates was just over in Europe, and at the very end of their trip they had all the stuff out of their car including all their gifts for everyone and their tickets stolen. So really I just feel very sorry for them.

Although I still didn't sleep last night, and Bradley is still shitting in my potplants :-(

Ok have a nice day.

Love from
Me

bhn, looking forward to blowing hard with you sometime in the near future as you overcome your suppression and fear of femininity.

Remember to write "Oh gosh" at least once for Adam as well otherwise it just wouldn't be right.

Nah! Not at all.

Also are you home tonight? I thought I might pop round and pick up Pirates. Also have you watched the end of Lawrence of Arabia? If not when are you going to do that? If I can't watch it with you can I borrow it sometime? Can I also borrow Gone with the Wind? Thanks hun.

Ok it could be because I had it replaced a few months ago so the number may be different from the one you have. I don't have it on me, so you'll have to wait until I get home sorry.

Yes see they are all really good things! Nick you are so funny. I decided work was boring today (shhh I didn't say it) so I'd be naughty and come read Mindy's site. I'm not sure how I'll justify it if my web usage gets queried later.. the section heads get reports weekly or something. However, I'm sure it will be overlooked this once :) And it's nearly 5pm - this day has dragged so much! But Byron bought me jellybeans and they made me wake up quite a lot, plus I have hindi tonight which is exciting and I get to go home first and cook steak with grilled portobello mushrooms and garlic, and mashed potato, and cabbage. Yummmmm.

Hey Amy long time no see! I probably wrote 100 emails at least to Brent last year. I am a big emailer, especially when it's not banned by work, and I'm on the computer a lot. Like last year. 58 is fine.

Nick - at least your supervisor will be in this planet? They would be harder to contact if they were an astronaut. And imagine how much better it is now that we hve emails and international phone lines, 100 years ago you really would have been screwed waiting for the pigeon post to arrive! And Genetic Cassettes - sounds exciting!

Hey Min what was the deleted comment? And who is Linds? I investigate some of your other blog stalkers the other day and blog stalked them instead. :) Have a great day everyone :)

Hey Lara I hope you read this, got your piano valued, bad news unfortunately, check your email tonight I've written up a report for you.

Mindy said...

And yeah it would suck if your supervisor was an astronaut. Nick you really are very lucky.

Linds is just a nice person who must have happened by my blog one day, you know as much as I do!

I love it when random people comment here, and I always go and check out their blogs, and most are very interesting and I add them to my favourites.

They are also usually hot American girls, which is exciting.
