Almost the weekend!

RHCP Lyric of the Day: Born to adore the big bad bison

Good morning everyone! It's all yucky and hot in my office.... but that's ok. I had a lovely evening last night Darren came an dpicked me up and we went for a drive over the hill to the harbour, then we drove around looking at the pretty lights and stuff. It made me miss Church Bay a bit, so if no one is using the house I'm going to go over and stay Saturday night.

Other than that I don't have much planned for the weekend. I need to get some bits and pieces done, but hopefully it will be a bit quiet unlike last weekend. Might be going out with Rach, Kim and Helen tonight but I'll have to see how things go.

Have a nice Friday everyone.

BTW you all suck, no one told me any thing else that was fun to do AND say. Snorkel is still the best I reckon.

:-) M

Gubanatorial is my favourite, hands down.

Why?
1) Its sounds like "goober", ie nasal discharge.
2) Its meant to be a serious, government type word.

Therefore you can say it in a serious context but chuckle with content on the inside.

Nick what in the world is spelunker?

And resuscitationisn't fun to do! You started off concentrating on the only fun to do, and now you're concentrating on the only fun to say! Andrew ditto!

Whereas boing is absolutely perfect! I'm adding it to my official list. Big gold star for Adam!

Ok I just looked up spelunker. The correct form of the word would have been spelunking. But Nick I sorry for my above criticism (although I still hold that resuscitation isn't fun to do). Spelunking is another wonderful example and it too is going to be added to my official list.

So I guess I'll get Adam to share his gold star with you... :-D

What do you mean?
It would be very fun to be a governer.

Even though, yes, it isn't "Gubernatorialing"...

In case of email crapness:
Yes, Mindy, lunch, yes.

Assassinating is NOT fun to do... you evil bird!

Good luck!

ps Why are you eating it?

Cool! I whole-heartedly endorse that kind of behaviour. Like the Butthole Surfers said "it's better to regeret something you did than something you didn't do".

I bored

Oh boo hoo! Poor people with jobs are bored...

I am currently working to fix a bug so that we get paid on Monday so the boss doesn't loose his house.

Take that!

Erm. Sorry for the irrational rant.... :-p

Oh Andrew yesterday you were telling me you were glad you could get a new job. Think of all the things you didn't like about this job and you can say goodbye to them. Don't stress if he does lose his house it won't be because you didn't fix the bug, it will be because of all the prior happenings way before this bug. It's not your fault :-)

And Adam, that is quite ok. I completely forgive you. However, I am worried that you may be spending too much time around Nick. He seems to be influencing your grammar ;-)

Yes, Mindy you are right.
I am about to go into a meeting to make it offical, so that will ease me slightly.

Oh, and I fixed the bug.

Turned out to be a feature anyway. I dont write bugs.

It's ok Adam... it will be ok... Just everyone please remember...

you're means you are as in you're nosey

and

your means your as in I like your nose

:-D Class dismissed

Mindy said...

Wow! That's a coincidence! I also like my nose. A lot.

We should start a club... lets call it "The Adam's Nose Appreciation Society".

OMG!

Basically worst case scenario!

Everyone except me and another person is getting laid off. Arrggh! No I have to decide whether I want to stay or not...

The boss is going to get another job at the same time... It might turn out I am virtually running the office - maybe?

I shall talk of this later to you Mindy. I thought it better to not email this.

So instead I posted it on the web. Hmm.

Mindy said...

Wow! That is unexpected. My advice to you at this stage (I have tons of advice more will come later, as you said we will talk of this later) is to keep applying for other jobs (well at this stage keep intending to apply for other jobs) even if you haven't made up your mind, as you don't want the other people who are being laid off to get all the good jobs and you stuck with the crappy ones.

HAHA! I just realised you can't moan about being unemployed anymore though. ;-)

I'm not really happy though, I will be supportive, I just wanted to point that out.
