Subway is evil.
What’s it like being a minion in the great evil empire?
First off, I would like to say Subway mayonnaise is not mayonnaise. Mayonnaise should not glisten and be a semi translucent high white colour. Mayonnaise is egg and oil, that’s about it. So it should be a slightly off white colour. I put it to you that subway mayo contains neither. It may be low fat but its high in sugar, you can taste it when you eat it.
Also there is no way that their bread contains anything resembling natural ingredients, no natural bread can rise as quickly as theirs does.
Lastly they are the most unscrupulous franchise on earth. They are worse than starbucks as far as aggressive market control goes.
There is no restriction on how many subway restaurants can open in a particular area. The franchisee pays their $100,000 or whatever, opens their restaurant and competes with other Subway’s in their area. The subway’s that don’t make it get closed by head office, the franchisee footing the entire cost.
How do you sleep at night Clairey Fairy…how do you do it?

Come on now Dave, I fail to see what the difference is between Subway and any other fast food joint out there. In fact, I'd rate it as one of the least unhealthy of the lot of them. If you despise it so, just don't go!

First of all my name is not Dave.
Secondly I was not making a comparison between subway and any other fast food restaurant, perhaps you should read my post before responding.
Third. I do choose not to go.

Well the fact still remains you got it wrong about the bread and the mayo and the not having limits on the number of restaurants per location. Just think it's important to get the facts correct and out there so everyone can make their own decisions about what to complain about and what to eat :)

Peace

I was wrong about the bread. Fair enough.
The fact remains that their mayo is not of nature.
Also please read my comments, quotes and sources regarding subways franchising policy on the location of new restaurants.
You will find that I have may facts straight and you don't know what you are talking about. Just because you sister has attained the heady position of "Sandwich artist" doesn't mean she knows anything about their corporate policy.
