Dreams

Well I had two very strange dreams last night.

One of them I was stuck inside a house trying to escape (which some other people, I don't know who they were though). But when we went outside, or even got too close to a window we got shot at by the characters from the Guru (which was on TV last night). I can't even remember if we eventually got out or not. Probably not. The other dream involved my work, and there were tons of people here on work experience and I knew them all. But they weren't people I know in real life. Anyway it was very annoying as they were using my computer and I wanted to check my email!

Also Andrew had a dream about his cellphone. I think that's a very bad sign. Maybe they need some time apart.

Last night I baked a banana cake. I actually ended up putting three bananas in it, which wasn't a problem as we'd gone shopping. It was yummy. Well it still is. Most of it is still left. And unless Bradley eats it all during the day I'm expecting it still to be there when I get home.

Nobody gave me any good ideas for books to read, other than Harry Potter, so I guess I'll have to start reading that.

:-) M

Hi Mindy!

I wouldn't want you to have no comments on your blog. That is wrong. Everyone must be all commented out from yesterday. I'm about to eat soem yummy looking banana cake...

Thanks for commenting Kirsty, you're a star! * !

Maybe Andrew scared everyone away with all that robotic incest ;-)

dont worry, my dreams weren't cool last night either.

Try eating cheese before you go to bed.

I did think that Adam was looking a lot taller and more Nick-like than usual.

Did everyone hear Mr Jackson got aquitted of everything?

Anonymous said...

I heard.

I'm not impressed.

I wonder if the verdict would have been different if it had been New Zealanders on the jury.

Do you think SamualL Jackson is related to Michael Jackson?

Did you like the cake Kirsty?

Mindy said...

Yeah I saw that too.

Are bands as good as they originally were when they reform? I guess it depends on the band.

The Jane's Addiction Strays album was awesome, and that was after 13 years, but it didn't last so can it be counted as recreating the magic, probably not.

Pink Floyd reforming would only be sweet-as cool for the concerts.

It has been 25 years since they released any decent music anyway.

I don't really feel like another Momentary Lack Of Reason/Division Bell.

if you look at the right side of my blog, there's a link for my book-reviewing blog. I'm behind on posts, but it might help you out.
If you like sci-fi, read Ender's Game. If you like witty, cynical observations from an astute though unbalanced curmeodgen, read Confederacy of Dunces. If you like fantasy, read Enchantment. If you like Comedy, read Big Trouble.

It's always best to buy at locally owned stores, but for a quick/easy/cheap way you can get it used here
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0802130208/qid=1117748616/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-3996118-6925718?v=glance&s=books

that's what I did

Mindy said...

Yeah I'll definitely try and buy locally first, but you never know how good the range will be here in little old Christchurch New Zealand.

I have some very exciting news everyone! a) It's my lunchtime and I'm eating lunch. and b) in our biscuit jar at work we have tiny teddies! Yay! Well actually the way it works is we have one "plain" jar at the moment it has wine biscuits in it, one nicer jar which will have chocolate bisuits or in this case chocolate backed tiny teddies and one jar of crackers. It's very hard as they're very tempting, but I only eat the nice bisuits if they're tiny teddies or toffee pops.

That is all I'm going to read Monty Python now. Bye!

Mindy said...

Oops! I accidentally just ate another three teddies!

Mindy said...

Well I kind of did it absent mindedly. I had planned not to eat anymore. :-(

Mindy said...

Gosh that would have been a sight! I hope it wasn't a wire one, that could have done some damage.

Anonymous said...

I accidentally ate a whole half a cake. I would have eaten more but that was all there was!

I once drank an entire vile of sodium pantothenate!

You wouldn't read about it. What crazy times they were.

Mindy said...

I'm proud to say I haven't eaten anymore teddies!

Or coat hangers.

Or cake.

Or viles of sodium pantothenate!

Anonymous said...

That directly implies by omission that you have eaten mongeese!

Are you OK?!?

Mindy said...

Um well it wasn't a whole family... just the babies. And it was completely accidental. I think I'll be ok.

Anonymous said...

At 2:23pm I was actually out of the office looking at white discharge so whoever (ANDREW) said I accidently ate half a chocolate cake is wrong.

It was no accident.

Mindy said...

Yay Kirsty is back!! Hi Kirsty!

Isn't discharge such a wonderful word? You could put any adjective in front of it and it still sounds revolting.

eg white discharge
yellow discharge
excessive discharge
lovely discharge
soupy discharge

etc

Anonymous said...

Hi Mindy!

Yes and I see all the best discharges!

There are also smelly discharges which I have to describe - ie fishy discharge
uriney discharge
composty discharge
bloody discharge (as in meat not swearing).

Mindy said...

Wow that's awesome!

Everybody remember tomorrow is ask anyone day so think of some questions to ask anyone and comment them in tomorrow! It looks like Kirsty will be a good person to ask if you have any questions about discharge.

If you are asked a question remember not to comment the answer but to email it to me.

Mindy said...

The format is you write in and say "I have a question for -name goes here-" and then ask the question!

Just as long as it's obvious who the question is for. You could also ask open questions for everyone to answer.

When you write a reply to question and email it to me include the question just so I know.

Harry Potter is indeed awesome- although that banana cake sounds pretty good too...
