Not much to report

I don't have much to say, but thought I'd write anyway just because everyone would probably miss me terribly otherwise.

The worst possible thing happened at work yesterday. Well some background first. Our client is in England which is quite a long way away from here. Also they are in quite a different time zone, a completely different one in fact. So when it's 8.35 in the morning here, it's 9.35 at night there (the day before). Or something like that. Now this has some great benefits, where deadlines are concerned etc. It also has some big downsides. The major one being that when they are all happily using the system we have made for them we are all tucked up in bed, or at least no where near work or our computers (well I'm not anyway). So if something goes terribly wrong at say, 2pm in their working day, that makes it 3am here, and so someone in our team needs to be woken up to go sort it out. The terrible terrible news is, after 8 months working here my manager has decided I'm now ready to be put on the phonelist of people to call. URGH!

Tomorrow is Kim and Kirsty's work social which I'm attending. Yay! Should be tons of fun. And tonight hopefully I'm watching the end of the labyrinth... very exciting!

:-) M

I would just like to announce that from now on I would like everyone to refer to me as:

And I would just like to annouce that I LOVE it when people call me by cat names. Any cat name! Especially cliche ones!

So....

breast size - you're wrong Mindy. People who are unhappy with their breast size might also be honest about it. Like me - I'm not happy, but I'm not going around telling people I'm a b. First of all - if they're too big you can't hide it anyway, and second of all, you should only lie where necessary, like surprise birthday parties, and when someone says 'I look totally awful in this' and they have to wear it.

And - how long were you at home for? I think the peace lilies would be sad.

I'm sure I have more comments. Like - I accidentally almost sent my reply to this post as an email to you. Which would have been weird.

And who is Julie?

I'm so happy you have Kim to go travelling with but I'm envious it's not me. But I guess I got you the last couple of years when she was in the cold of Dunedin...

I bought 3 books and 3 CDs yesterday. For $98 total - by my calculation it should have been $90, but that's ok, Border's can have the rest as a donation since I like them so much. And it was the day Harry Potter came out so they were a bit stressed. And I could be wrong too, you never know. Plus i have a 15% off voucher for next time I go, which may be next month after I'm paid. Ok, I've deviated from commenting into creating my own post...sorry :)

I'm not wrong! I didn't say that if you were unhappy you would lie, just that you might - so nothing I said contradicted with your thoughts that you might be honest about it too.

And also that's ok that you wrote a long comment - it was fun to read :-)
